Talking Heads were an American rock band formed in 1975 in New York City. The group consisted of David Byrne (vocals, guitar), Chris Frantz (drums), Tina Weymouth (bass), and Jerry Harrison (keyboards, guitar). They combined elements of punk, art rock, funk, and world music, contributing to the development of the new wave genre. Their debut album, "Talking Heads: 77" (1977), featured the hit "Psycho Killer." Subsequent albums like "Fear of Music" (1979) and "Remain in Light" (1980), produced by Brian Eno, expanded their musical range.
