Tamba Trio is a Brazilian musical group formed in 1962 in Rio de Janeiro. The group consisted of Luiz Eça (piano, vocals, arrangements), Adalberto Castilho known as Bebeto (baritone and tenor saxophone, flute, vocals), and Hélcio Milito (percussion, vocals). Their debut album "Tamba Trio" from 1962 featured the hit "O Barquinho." The following album "Avanço" from 1963 included their rendition of Jorge Ben's "Mas, que nada!"
