Tampa Red, born Hudson Whittaker, was an American blues musician renowned for his distinctive slide guitar style. Over a career spanning more than 30 years, he recorded numerous tracks, including "It Hurts Me Too" and "Love Her with a Feeling". His technique influenced many blues guitarists, such as Big Bill Broonzy and Robert Nighthawk. Based in Chicago, he was one of the most prolific blues artists of his time.
