LP platne - The Capitols
The Capitols were an American soul group from Detroit, Michigan, active between 1962 and 1969. The trio consisted of Sam George, Don Storball, and Richard Mitchell. They are best known for their 1966 hit "Cool Jerk," which reached number 2 on the Billboard R&B chart and number 7 on the Billboard Hot 100. Following this success, they released the albums "Dance the Cool Jerk" and "We Got a Thing That's in the Groove" in 1966. Despite subsequent singles, they were unable to replicate the success of "Cool Jerk," leading to their disbandment in 1969. Their music was influenced by R&B and soul, and they collaborated with producer Ollie McLaughlin. The products available from the artist The Capitols include vinyls.
