The Colourfield was a British band formed in 1984 in Manchester, England, by vocalist Terry Hall after his departure from Fun Boy Three. The group consisted of Terry Hall, Toby Lyons, and Karl Shale. Their 1985 debut album, "Virgins and Philistines," featured the hit "Thinking of You," which reached number 12 on the UK Singles Chart. A second album, "Deception," was released in 1987. The band was known for blending new wave and pop rock genres. After The Colourfield disbanded, Terry Hall continued his musical career with various projects and collaborations.
