The Cross was a British rock band formed in 1987 by Roger Taylor, the drummer of Queen. The band released three studio albums: "Shove It" (1988), "Mad, Bad and Dangerous to Know" (1990), and "Blue Rock" (1991). Their music combined rock with pop elements. The debut album "Shove It" featured the track "Heaven for Everyone" with vocals by Freddie Mercury. The band was active until 1993, achieving moderate success, particularly in Germany.
