The Dandy Warhols are an American alternative rock band formed in Portland, Oregon, in 1994. The original lineup consisted of vocalist and guitarist Courtney Taylor-Taylor, guitarist Peter Holmström, keyboardist Zia McCabe, and drummer Eric Hedford. Hedford departed in 1998 and was replaced by Taylor-Taylor's cousin, Brent DeBoer. The band is known for their genre-blending sound, incorporating elements of psychedelic rock, shoegaze, power pop, and synth-pop. Notable albums include "The Dandy Warhols Come Down" (1997), "Thirteen Tales from Urban Bohemia" (2000), and "Welcome to the Monkey House" (2003). In 2024, they released their twelfth studio album, "Rockmaker," featuring guest artists such as Frank Black, Slash, and Debbie Harry.
