The Dandy Warhols are an American alternative rock band formed in Portland, Oregon, in 1994. The original lineup consisted of vocalist and guitarist Courtney Taylor-Taylor, guitarist Peter Holmström, keyboardist Zia McCabe, and drummer Eric Hedford. Hedford departed in 1998 and was replaced by Taylor-Taylor's cousin, Brent DeBoer. The band is known for their genre-blending sound, incorporating elements of psychedelic rock, shoegaze, power pop, and synth-pop. Notable albums include "The Dandy Warhols Come Down" (1997), "Thirteen Tales from Urban Bohemia" (2000), and "Welcome to the Monkey House" (2003).
