The Deadly Ones were an American surf rock band that released the album "It's Monster Surfing Time" in 1964 under Vee Jay Records. The album features 12 tracks, including "There's a Creature in the Surfer's Lagoon" and "Igor Goes Surfing." The band's style blends surf rock with horror themes, evident in the track titles and overall album atmosphere. While the identities of the band members remain unknown, some sources suggest that guitarist Joe South may have been involved in the project, as he wrote five of the album's tracks. The album was reissued on CD in 2001 and on a limited edition vinyl in 2016.
