The Defect is an electronic-rock duo from Kansas City, Missouri, comprising Jonny McBee, frontman of The Browning, and vocalist Moon McBee. Their debut album, "Death X Destiny," was released on March 7, 2025, under the FiXT label. The album features 10 tracks, including "Defiance" and "Dreamwalker." Musically, they blend alternative metal with electronic elements. The album was released in a digipak edition with a 12-page lyric booklet designed by Pablo Torres.
