The Eagles are an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1971. The original lineup consisted of Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Bernie Leadon, and Randy Meisner. Their debut album, "Eagles" (1972), featured hits like "Take It Easy" and "Witchy Woman". Subsequent successful albums include "Desperado" (1973), "On the Border" (1974), and "One of These Nights" (1975). The album "Hotel California" (1976) became one of the best-selling albums of all time. The band has won six Grammy Awards and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998.
