Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) is an English rock band formed in Birmingham in 1970 by Jeff Lynne, Roy Wood, and Bev Bevan. Their music blends pop and classical arrangements with futuristic iconography. After Wood's departure in 1972, Lynne assumed leadership. Notable albums include "Out of the Blue" (1977) and "Discovery" (1979). ELO is known for hits like "Mr. Blue Sky" and "Don't Bring Me Down".
