The Exploited is a Scottish punk band from Edinburgh, formed in 1978. Initially playing street punk and oi!, they later transitioned to crossover thrash. Their debut album, "Punks Not Dead," was released in 1981, followed by "Troops of Tomorrow" (1982), "Let's Start a War... (Said Maggie One Day)" (1983), and "Horror Epics" (1985). The band is known for aggressive lyrics and energetic performances. Despite frequent lineup changes, vocalist Wattie Buchan has remained a constant member.
