The Flowerz was a garage rock band from the Reading, Pennsylvania area, active in the 1960s. In 1968, they released several locally popular singles, including "I Need Love Now" and "Flyte" on the small Kingston label. Their music featured original songs like "Flyte" and "I Need Love Now," as well as energetic covers of tracks by The Rolling Stones, The Animals, The Kinks, and The Byrds. The band's performance on February 18, 1968, at the Albright College Field House was recorded and later released on CD, capturing their raw energy and enthusiasm for music.
