The God Machine was formed in 1990 in California, USA. They gained fame for their unique sound that combined alternative rock and indie rock with deep, dark lyrics and intricate production. Their debut album "Scenes From The Second Storey" was released in 1992, earning critical acclaim for its rich musical textures and emotionally charged tracks like "Dream Machine" and "Home." This was followed by their second and final studio album "One Last Laugh in a Place of Dying."
