The Hunt was a New York-based post-punk band active from 2007 to 2013. The lineup included Jasper McGandy (vocals), Christian Kount (guitar), Mike O'Brien (bass), and Ian Michael (drums). In 2013, they released their sole album, "The Hunt Begins," under Sacred Bones Records. Their music drew influences from bands like The Southern Death Cult and New Model Army.
