cd - The In Crowd
The In Crowd was a Jamaican reggae band formed in the 1970s by Filberto 'Fil' Calender. In 1978, they released the album 'His Majesty Is Coming', which gained them popularity in the United Kingdom. They followed with successful singles like 'We Play Reggae' and 'Born In Ethiopia'. Their final major album, 'Natural Rock 'n' Reggae', was released in the early 1980s. The band disbanded shortly after, as Calender decided to focus on gospel music. Their work from 1977 to 1984 has been reissued in a three-disc collection.
