The Inspector Cluzo is a French rock duo from Mont-de-Marsan, Landes, France, formed in 2007. The band consists of Laurent "Malcolm" Lacrouts (guitar, vocals) and Mathieu "Phil" Jourdain (drums). Their musical style blends elements of rock, blues, and funk. Notable albums include "The Inspector Cluzo" (2008), "The French Bastards" (2010), "Gasconha Rocks" (2013), and "We the People of the Soil" (2018). The duo is known for their independent approach, managing their own label "FucktheBassPlayer Records" and operating a 15-hectare organic farm "Lou Casse" in Gascony. Their live performances are energetic and dynamic, often performed without a bassist.
