The Kingbees were an American rock band formed in 1979 in Los Angeles. The group consisted of Jamie James (vocals and guitar), Michael Rummans (bass guitar), and Rex Roberts (drums). Their 1980 debut album, 'The Kingbees', featured the hit 'My Mistake'. In 1981, they released their second album, 'The Big Rock'. After its release, the band disbanded.
