The Kingston Lions is a Jamaican musical group composed of legendary session musicians who united to record an album in 2025. Produced by Ralph Sall, the album features reinterpretations of classic reggae tracks from the 1960s and 70s, such as Desmond Dekker's "Israelites" and The Melodians' "Rivers of Babylon." Recorded at Kingston's Anchor Studios, the sessions capture the essence of reggae's golden era. This project serves as a tribute to Jamaica's musical heritage and marks the final collaboration of some of these esteemed musicians.
