The Kooks are an English indie rock band formed in 2004 in Brighton. The current lineup consists of Luke Pritchard (vocals, guitar) and Hugh Harris (guitar, synthesizer). Their debut album, "Inside In/Inside Out" (2006), achieved quadruple platinum certification in the United Kingdom. The follow-up album, "Konk" (2008), debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart. Notable songs include "Naïve," "She Moves in Her Own Way," and "Always Where I Need to Be." The band won the Best UK & Ireland Act at the 2006 MTV Europe Music Awards and received a Brit Award nomination for the single "She Moves in Her Own Way."
