The Last Resort is a British Oi! band formed in 1980 in Herne Bay. The original lineup consisted of Roi Pearce (bass), Charlie Duggan (guitar), Andy Benfield (drums), and Graham Saxby (vocals). The band was named after a London shop catering to punk and skinhead culture, whose owner, Mickey French, became their manager. Their debut album, "A Way of Life: Skinhead Anthems," was released in 1982 and featured tracks like "King of the Jungle" and "Violence in Our Minds." In 2025, they released the compilation "Strength Through Roi: Rare Tracks 1981-1984," containing rare recordings from their early years.
