The Mighty Lemon Drops were an English rock band active from 1985 to 1992. Originally known as Sherbet Monsters, the group formed in Wolverhampton and consisted of Paul Marsh (vocals), David Newton (guitar), Tony Linehan (bass guitar), and Keith Rowley (drums). Their music was influenced by psychedelia and post-punk, often drawing comparisons to Echo & the Bunnymen. Their debut album, "Happy Head," released in 1986, reached No. 58 on the UK Albums Chart. The follow-up album, "World Without End," released in 1988, featured the single "Inside Out," which peaked at No. 74 on the UK Singles Chart. Throughout their career, they released five studio albums and were known for their guitar-driven sound and energetic performances.
