The Mills Brothers were an American jazz and pop vocal group from Piqua, Ohio, active from 1925 to 1982. Originally composed of brothers John Jr., Herbert, Harry, and Donald Mills, the group was known for their vocal imitations of musical instruments. They recorded over 2,000 songs, sold more than 50 million copies, and earned at least three dozen gold records. Notable songs include "Paper Doll" (1943), "You Always Hurt the One You Love" (1944), and "Glow Worm" (1952). They collaborated with artists such as Louis Armstrong and Duke Ellington.
