cd - The Monks
The Monks were a British pop punk and new wave band formed in the late 1970s by three former members of Strawbs—Richard Hudson, John Ford, and Brian Willoughby—along with Terry Cassidy and Clive Pierce. Their 1979 debut album, "Bad Habits," featured the single "Nice Legs Shame About Her Face," which reached number 19 on the UK Singles Chart. Despite limited success in the UK, they gained significant popularity in Canada, where their albums "Bad Habits" and "Suspended Animation" achieved platinum status. The band disbanded in 1982 after recording several tracks for an unreleased third album, "Cybernetic Sister." The products available from the artist The Monks include CDs.
