The Ophelias are an American rock band from Cincinnati, Ohio, formed in 2015. The group consists of Spencer Peppet (vocals, guitar), Andrea Gutmann Fuentes (violin, keyboards), Micaela Adams (drums), and Jo Shaffer (bass). They are known for their unique sound that blends alternative rock with chamber pop. Their debut album, "Creature Native," was released in 2015, followed by "Almost" in 2018 and "Crocus" in 2021. In 2025, they released the album "Spring Grove." The band has collaborated with Yoni Wolf of Why? and Julien Baker. Their music is characterized by introspective lyrics and rich arrangements.
