The Pale Fountains were an English band formed in Liverpool in 1980. The group consisted of Michael Head (vocals, guitar), Chris McCaffery (bass guitar), Thomas Whelan (drums), and Andy Diagram (trumpet). They released two studio albums: "Pacific Street" in 1984 and "...From Across the Kitchen Table" in 1985. Their music was influenced by the 1960s, particularly artists like Love and Burt Bacharach.
