The Rascals, originally known as The Young Rascals, were an American rock band formed in 1965 in Garfield, New Jersey. The original lineup consisted of Felix Cavaliere (vocals, keyboards), Eddie Brigati (vocals, percussion), Gene Cornish (guitar, vocals), and Dino Danelli (drums). The band was known for their "blue-eyed soul" style and achieved success with hits like "Good Lovin'", "Groovin'", and "People Got to Be Free". Throughout their career, they released several significant albums, including "The Young Rascals" (1966), "Groovin'" (1967), and "Once Upon a Dream" (1968).
