The Revolutionaries were a Jamaican reggae band formed in 1975 as the house band of Channel One Studios. Led by drummer Sly Dunbar and bassist Robbie Shakespeare, they were instrumental in developing the "rockers" style that influenced Jamaican music. Notable albums include "Burning Dub" (1979) and "Green Bay Dub" (1979). They collaborated with artists such as B.B. Seaton, Black Uhuru, and Gregory Isaacs. Their innovative approach to dub and reggae left a lasting impact on the genre.
