The Streets is a British music project led by Mike Skinner, blending hip-hop, UK garage, and electronic music. Their debut album, "Original Pirate Material" (2002), was nominated for the Mercury Prize. The follow-up, "A Grand Don't Come for Free" (2004), features the single "Dry Your Eyes," which reached number one on the UK Singles Chart. Subsequent albums include "The Hardest Way to Make an Easy Living" (2006), "Everything Is Borrowed" (2008), and "Computers and Blues" (2011). After a hiatus, The Streets returned with the mixtape "None of Us Are Getting Out of This Life Alive" (2020) and the album "The Darker the Shadow the Brighter the Light" (2023).
