The Tymes are an American soul vocal group from Philadelphia, formed in 1956. Originally known as The Latineers, they changed their name to The Tymes after the addition of lead singer George Williams in 1960. Their debut single, "So Much in Love," reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1963. Other notable songs include "Wonderful! Wonderful!", "Somewhere," and "You Little Trustmaker." The group was inducted into the Philadelphia Music Alliance Walk of Fame in 2023. Known for their smooth harmonies, The Tymes have contributed to the R&B, soul, and doo-wop genres.
