The Waifs are an Australian folk rock band formed in 1992 in Albany, Western Australia, by sisters Vikki Thorn (harmonica, guitar, vocals) and Donna Simpson (guitar, vocals), along with Josh Cunningham (guitar, vocals). Their fourth studio album, "Up All Night," released in January 2003, reached number three on the Australian Albums Chart and achieved double platinum certification. The album features singles such as "London Still" and "Lighthouse." In 2003, the band won four ARIA Awards, including Best Independent Release and Best Blues & Roots Album. The Waifs supported Bob Dylan on his Australian tour in 2003 and subsequently on his North American tour, including a performance at the Newport Folk Festival.
