Thick Pigeon was a New York-based musical duo consisting of vocalist Stanton Miranda and composer Carter Burwell. After releasing several singles for Les Disques du Crépuscule between 1982 and 1983, they released the album "Too Crazy Cowboys" in 1984 under Factory Records. The album was produced by Stephen Morris and Gillian Gilbert of New Order. Their music combined electronic elements with a minimalist approach, resulting in a unique sound.
