He began his career in the 1980s collaborating with Julian Cope, contributing to albums like "Autogeddon" and "Interpreter". In 1997, he joined the band Spiritualized, and in 1998, the experimental group Coil. As a solo artist, he released albums such as "I, Thighpaulsandra" (2001) and "Double Vulgar" (2003). In 2025, he released the album "Acid & Ecstasy". His music blends genres like electronic, ambient, and industrial.
