Thomas Dybdahl is a Norwegian singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist known for his unique blend of folk, indie pop, and jazz. He began his solo career in 2000 with the release of the EPs "Bird" and "John Wayne". His first album, "...That Great October Sound" (2002), garnered acclaim and was the first in his "October" trilogy. This was followed by "Stray Dogs" (2003) and "One Day You'll Dance for Me, New York City" (2004). Dybdahl collaborated with the band The National Bank and contributed to Morcheeba's "Dive Deep" album in 2008.
