Tiamat is a Swedish gothic metal band formed in 1987. Their 1994 album "Wildhoney" reached number 29 on the German charts. Other notable albums include "A Deeper Kind of Slumber" (1997) and "Skeleton Skeletron" (1999). The 2008 album "Amanethes" peaked at number 13 on the Swedish charts. The band is known for their contribution to the development of gothic metal and collaborated with producer Siggi Bemm on the 2012 album "The Scarred People".
