Tim Warfield is an American jazz tenor saxophonist born in 1965 in York, Pennsylvania. He began his musical career on the alto saxophone at age nine, later switching to tenor saxophone during high school. After two years at Howard University, he became a professional jazz musician. Warfield has collaborated with artists such as Marlon Jordan, Nicholas Payton, and Christian McBride. As a leader, he has released several albums on the Criss Cross Jazz label, including "A Cool Blue" (1995) and "Spherical: Dedicated to Thelonious Sphere Monk" (2015). He is also a member of Terell Stafford's quintet and serves as an assistant professor at Temple University in Philadelphia. The products available from the artist Tim Warfield include CDs.
