Tír na nÓg is an Irish folk duo formed in Dublin in 1969 by Leo O'Kelly and Sonny Condell. They are considered among the first progressive folk artists, blending Celtic roots with intricate acoustic guitar work and harmonious vocals. Between 1971 and 1973, they released three studio albums: "Tír na nÓg," "A Tear and a Smile," and "Strong in the Sun." After disbanding in 1974, they reunited in 1985 and have since performed sporadically. In 2015, they released the album "The Dark Dance."
