Tommy Talton was an American guitarist and songwriter, known as a member of the band Cowboy and collaborator with Gregg Allman. With Cowboy, he released four albums on Capricorn Records in the 1970s. Talton contributed to Allman's "Laid Back" and Betts' "Highway Call" albums. Throughout his career, he collaborated with various artists and released several solo albums, including "Let's Get Outta Here" in 2012. His music blended elements of rock, southern rock, and blues. Talton passed away on December 28, 2023, after a battle with cancer.
