Toto is an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1977. The original lineup included David Paich (keyboards, vocals), Jeff Porcaro (drums), Steve Lukather (guitar, vocals), Steve Porcaro (keyboards), David Hungate (bass guitar), and Bobby Kimball (vocals). The band is known for blending genres such as rock, pop, soul, funk, R&B, blues, and jazz. Their most notable songs include "Hold the Line," "Rosanna," and "Africa." The 1982 album "Toto IV" won six Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year. Throughout their career, they have sold over 40 million albums and were inducted into the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum in 2009.
