cd - Trio Mondrian
Trio Mondrian was an Israeli piano trio comprising Ohad Ben-Ari (piano), Daniel Bard (violin), and Hila Karni (cello). Formed in 2007, the trio won first prize at the International Chamber Music Competition in Trieste and the audience prize at the Bologna Festival. In 2009, they received a fellowship from the Borletti-Buitoni Trust. Their 2012 album "Piano Trios" features works by Maurice Ravel and Dmitri Shostakovich. The trio concluded its activities in February 2019.
