UB40 is a British reggae band formed in December 1978 in Birmingham. The original lineup included Alistair "Ali" Campbell (guitar, vocals), Robin Campbell (guitar, vocals), Earl Falconer (bass guitar, vocals), Jimmy Brown (drums), Brian Travers (saxophone), Norman Hassan (percussion, trombone, vocals), Michael "Mickey" Virtue (keyboards), and Terence "Astro" Wilson (toasting, percussion, trumpet). The band is known for hits such as "Red Red Wine," "I Got You Babe" (a duet with Chrissie Hynde), and "(I Can't Help) Falling in Love with You." Their 1983 album "Labour of Love" reached number one on the UK Albums Chart. UB40 has been nominated four times for the Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album and was nominated for the Brit Award for Best British Group in 1984.
