Ulver is a Norwegian experimental band formed in 1993 in Oslo by vocalist Kristoffer Rygg. Their 1995 debut album, "Bergtatt - Et eeventyr i 5 capitler," blends black metal with Norwegian folk music. Subsequent albums like "Kveldssanger" (1996) and "Nattens madrigal" (1997) showcase their musical diversity. In 1998, they released "Themes from William Blake's The Marriage of Heaven and Hell," marking a shift towards electronic and experimental music. Ulver is known for their continual musical evolution and has contributed to several film soundtracks, including "Lyckantropen Themes" (2002).
