Utopia was an American rock band formed in 1973 by Todd Rundgren. Initially focusing on progressive rock, they later transitioned to more straightforward rock and pop. Notable albums include "Todd Rundgren's Utopia" (1974), "Ra" (1977), and "Adventures in Utopia" (1979). The band achieved success with the hit "Set Me Free" in 1980. All four members contributed to writing, singing, and producing their music. The band disbanded in 1986 but reunited for tours in 1992, 2011, and 2018.
