cd - Van Baerle Trio

The Van Baerle Trio is a Dutch piano trio founded in 2004 by pianist Hannes Minnaar, violinist Maria Milstein, and cellist Gideon den Herder. The trio's name originates from Van Baerlestraat in Amsterdam, where the musicians met during their studies at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. They gained recognition after winning the ARD International Music Competition in Munich in 2013 and have since performed regularly in leading European concert halls. Their discography includes complete recordings of Beethoven's piano trios and works by composers such as Mendelssohn and Saint-Saëns. The trio members also teach chamber music at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.
