Vertical Horizon is an American alternative rock band formed in 1991 in Washington, D.C. Vocalists and guitarists Matt Scannell and Keith Kane began as a duo, later expanding the lineup with additional members. Their breakthrough album, "Everything You Want" (1999), featured the hit single "Everything You Want," which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100. The album was certified double platinum. Other successful singles include "You're a God" and "Best I Ever Had (Grey Sky Morning)." The band continued to produce music, releasing albums such as "Go" (2003) and "Burning the Days" (2009).
