cd - Vinegar Joe

Vinegar Joe was an English blues rock band formed in London in 1971. Emerging from the previous formation Dada, the group was known for their energetic live performances. They released three albums: "Vinegar Joe" (1972), "Rock'n Roll Gypsies" (1972), and "Six Star General" (1973). The band served as a launching pad for the solo careers of vocalists Elkie Brooks and Robert Palmer. After disbanding in 1974, both singers embarked on successful solo careers. Guitarist Pete Gage became a producer and arranger, collaborating with various artists.
