Vio-Lence is an American thrash metal band formed in 1985 in the San Francisco Bay Area. The original lineup included Sean Killian (vocals), Phil Demmel (lead guitar), Robb Flynn (rhythm guitar), Deen Dell (bass), and Perry Strickland (drums). The band released three studio albums: "Eternal Nightmare" (1988), "Oppressing the Masses" (1990), and "Nothing to Gain" (1993). After disbanding in 1994, Vio-Lence reunited in 2019 and released the EP "Let the World Burn" in 2022. The band is known for its contribution to the Bay Area thrash metal scene.
