Vona Vella is a British indie pop duo consisting of singers and multi-instrumentalists Izzy Davis and Dan Cunningham. Formed in autumn 2020, they gained attention with a remix of their single 'Sun' by Ross Godfrey of Morcheeba, which quickly amassed over a million streams. In July 2023, they released their self-titled debut album 'Vona Vella', recorded at The Albion Rooms studio and produced by Jason Stafford. The album features 12 tracks blending minimalist pop with captivating arrangements. The duo also released the EP 'Go Outside Forever' in 2022 and performed at festivals like The Great Escape and Dot2Dot. Vona Vella has supported artists such as The Libertines, Tim Burgess, and Morcheeba.
