Warrant is an American glam metal band formed in 1984 in Los Angeles. The original lineup included Erik Turner (guitar), Jerry Dixon (bass), Steven Sweet (drums), Joey Allen (lead guitar), and Jani Lane (vocals). Their debut album, "Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich" (1989), achieved double platinum status, with the single "Heaven" reaching No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100. The follow-up album, "Cherry Pie" (1990), also attained double platinum certification. Throughout their career, the band has released nine studio albums, with the latest, "Louder Harder Faster," released in 2017. After Jani Lane's death in 2011, Robert Mason became the lead vocalist. Warrant is recognized for their contribution to the glam metal genre and continues to tour and record new material.
