Wayman Tisdale was an American jazz bassist and former professional basketball player. After retiring from basketball, he pursued music, releasing nine albums, four of which reached number one on the US charts. His album "The Absolute Greatest Hits" features twelve of his finest tracks, including collaborations with George Duke and Toby Keith. Tisdale was known for his contributions to smooth jazz and funk music.
